After several centuries of tyrannical and corrupt warlords serving as emperor, the Lekaer dynasty came into power. In 1234 PC, Theolonius Lekaer II (? - ? PC) was the presiding Emperor of Ergoth, and was famed for reinstating the Swordsheath Scroll, and further developing relations with the neighboring kingdoms of the Dwarves and Elves. Theolonius re-opened trade with both nations and was a firm friend of both the King of Thorbardin and the Speaker of the Sun.
