In 1060 PC, Lekaer IV (? - ? PC) was the Emperor of Ergoth, who was a strong and fair ruler. However, Lekaer IV presided over a nation that was already under siege from Chromatic Dragons, who had been unleashed by Takhisis as part of the lead-up to the Third Dragon War. Lekaer IV was counseled by a powerful mage known as Fistandantilus, who had also been known to offer counsel to Quivalin V many centuries before, and the concept of the Dragon Orbs was proposed to the wizards of High Sorcery. Lekaer IV passed away whilst his land was still under siege and whilst the Third Dragon War still raged.
