Quevalin VII, the Restorer

Quivalin VII (2088 PC - 2023 PC) assumed the throne of the Ergoth Empire in 2075 PC, at the tender age of thirteen. Quivalin VI had been a rather unpopular ruler, and the child found himself in a similar situation to his predecessor soon enough, with fighting raging between Humans and Dwarves, and then Elves being drawn into the conflict. In 2073 PC, the boy emperor contact Kith-Kanan, asking for his aid in suing for peace with both elves and dwarves. A peace treaty was drawn up between the Ergothians, the dwarves and the elves at this time. As a sign of breaking with the war-filled past, and the shameful line of emperors before him, Quivalin VII decreed he would henceforth be known as Quevalin, as would his future successors.

Under the rule of Quevalin VII, the empire of Ergoth thrived, with music, poetry and literature spreading. The emperor founded the Bard College at Lancton, and was a firm champion of the performing arts, which he helped to grow within his nation. Quevalin VII was referred to as "the Restorer" and was one of the most popular Ergothian Emperors to have ever graced the throne.
