d'Avenell (? AC - ? AC) was a Human swashbuckler who adventured through the Balifor and Goodlund region. On one of his sojourns, he came across a small Kender child by the name of Teekli, whose parents had been killed in a Draconian raid. He adopted the young boy, and brought him up in Balifor. d'Avenell taught Teekli how to use a sword as well as many other human traits and skills.
