Goblin-BeaterArticle written by UzielThe goblin-beater was a weapon created by the gnomish inventor Varga. In many ways, the goblin-beater resembles an egg-beater, which four small clubs attached to a central core. The core itself is turned (and therefore so are the clubs) by a pair of small hand cranks. The device is intended to be strapped to a person's chest, and the cranks are turned which enables the clubs to start swinging. Once the cranks have been turned a little, the clubs will swing on their own for some time, disabling any foes within range. The other curious feature of the goblin-beater, is that it produces sparks when the cranks are being used, and emits a shrill whistle, which seems to scare goblins, children, small animals and minor beasts.
