VargaArticle written by UzielVargalastinesservalderkatzminovilbergapolnikkoffel (or Varga, for short) was a Gnome inventor, who had the large nose, blue eyes, white hair and white beard that was typical of his race. A cheerful gnome, Varga was always working on the next big invention to solve the "goblin problem". The inventor was born in Mount Nevermind, and hailed from a long line of mechanical engineers, who particularly specialized in weaponry. So from birth, his career was preordained. Varga's particular sub-specialty was non-explosive weaponry. Of all his inventions, his two greatest were the Goblin-Beater and the Longrabber. The longrabber was a large clamp that could grab onto things from up to 10 feet away, whilst the goblin-beater was a complicated device that had four clubs that were spun after turning hand cranks. The goblin-beater could be strapped to someone's chest and once the cranks were turned it could easily disable any foe in range. Varga spent most of his early years within the bowels of Mount Nevermind, perfecting his inventions. In later times he wandered Ansalon with groups of adventurers to perform field-testing on his creations. His last invention that he was known to be working on had the rather concerning name of high-speed dagger dispenser. A device that would surely strike fear into the hearts of both enemies and allies on a battlefield, if they ever heard a gnome created it.... References
