TellusArticle written by Kranar DroginTellus is considered a great snake or dale worm and was named thus during the time of Huma Dragonbane. It was known to the Elves as Daergryn. Whenever Ansalon rumbled or had tremors, people would claim that Tellus was moving. It is said that Tellus lies in a timeless sleep beneath Ansalon, and when the world ends is when Tellus will awaken. He was known to have stirred during the banishment of the Dark Gods in the Age of Dreams, and then again during the Cataclysm. If Tellus were ever to awake, he would tear the entire continent to pieces. It is also known that Tellus's eyes look like an archer's target. Age of DarknessIn the summer of 231 AC, a part of Tellus was found under Castle di Caela. Scorpion decided he would use Tellus for his own purposes and have the knights under Bayard Brightblade strike it in its eye to wake it. But thanks to the help of Galen Pathwarden and the others, his evil was stopped and Tellus only stirred in his sleep. References
