Vincit Cathard

Vincit Cathard (? - 383 AC) was a dragonrider who was a Knight of Takhisis under the command of Mirielle Abrena. He rode his trusted mount Cobalt into battle in Northern Ergoth, but he didn't return from that battle. He was known to care very much for Cobalt and was a great rider.

Chaos War

During the Chaos War, Vincit and Cobalt followed Mirielle into a battle against a Solamnic fort at Gwynned. Then, when they lost the Vision, Mirielle and her trusted officers abandoned them on the field of battle leaving them to the mercy of population there. The remnants of the wing were hounded all the way through the Sentinel Mountains, even by the kender of the island.

As they were trying to leave the island with their companions, they were ambushed and all their companions were either killed or captured, leaving only Cobalt and Vincit. Vincit was enraged, and wanted revenge so he attacked a small party of Knights of Solamnia. They party had a Silver Dragon with them that defeated the duo. Vincit was critically wounded by the silver dragon, and died while Cobalt was trying to flee back to mainland Ansalon.
