Varyan (? - 407 AC) was the former Baron of Coldhope and lived at Coldhope Keep. He had one daughter, Essana, who was wooed by a young officer at the time named Barreth Forlo. Varyan didn't approve of this choice for his daughter, but by 405 AC, he allowed them to get married. Two years after that, Varyan died from a heart attack.
