Shadow Dragons

Connected to the Plane of Shadow and not native to Krynn are the fearsome Shadow Dragons. Bearing translucent scales and having sleek dark bodies, these dragons are hard to spot from a distance, appearing as little more than a group of shadows in the sky. Shadow dragons have been known to serve powerful spellcasters, but more often than not, work towards furthering their own designs.

Shadow dragons heavily utilize illusory spells to befuddle their foes. Their breath weapon is a cone of billowing shadows, which drains their victims of energy. These dragons operate in secret and live solitary existences, only conversing with others when there is some personal gain involved.
