Kalaman

The city of Kalaman was considered to be the northeastern jewel of Solamnia. A port town, it is located between Nordmaar and Solamnia, and sits on the mouth of the Vingaard River. In pre-Cataclysm times, Kalaman was Istar's bitter rival in the sea trade and was, at one point, completely blockaded by the Istarian navy. In more recent times, Kalaman was partially destroyed by the Red Dragonarmy during the War of the Lance, though it was liberated by the Golden General during the final days of the war. It is now a part of Nightlund and very well could become its new capital since the twilight over Nightlund is no more.
