The Mind of the Ancientsby KendermageRecommended for games set during the 'Not Applicable' time period.Inside an ancient ogre ruin, one of the heroes (or a hapless NPC) has activated a sort of storehouse containing the knowledge of the ancient ogres. This becomes apparent over the next few days as he progressively becomes more intelligent. However, as this person becomes more intelligent, he correspondingly loses his ability to communicate in any language except Kolshet. The mind of the host is unable to contain this knowledge, and it is slowly killing him. A way must be found to communicate with the hero (or NPC) and to discover a way to remove the knowledge from his mind without killing him.
