Wrath of Catyrpelius

The land is in panic, entire towns have been destroyed, leaving no survivors. The populace lives in fear of some unknown terror that stalks the land, destroying at its leisure. A deranged dwarf crosses the land proclaiming that the Wrath of Catyrpelius has been invoked and the horrid creature will not cease its destruction till all have suffered.

Has the legend come to life? Is the cause of the suffering the result of a creature whose very existence is uncertain?

The PCs must travel across a battered countryside, facing off against scavengers, a deranged dwarf, and some really unruly mobs as they seek to uncover the mystery. Are they truly ready to fight a legendary monster that Raistlin claimed to be able to invoke?
