Defected Legionnaire

Recommended for games set during the 'Beyond the War of Souls' time period.

A member of the Legion of Steel goes AWOL. Later on people are killed in the woods outside a nearby village, close to where the Legionnaire was dispatched. Not wanting word to get out, the Legion quickly send out a dispatch to track him down. The six-man dispatch never returned, and that was a month ago.

The Legion of Steel, who believe the Legionnaire has gone mad on a previous mission (which rumors support), hire the PC's to hunt him down. When the PC's meet up with "the hunted Legionnaire," he tells a completely different story. Who do the PC's trust and what actions do they take?
