Favoured Enemy (Ex)
Todd Greenwood gains a +2 bonus on Bluff, Listen, Sense Motive, Spot, and Survival checks when using these skills against Humanoid (goblinoids), as well as a +2 bonus on weapon damage rolls against them. In addition, he gains a +4 bonus on Bluff, Listen, Sense Motive, Spot, and Survival checks when using these skills against Humanoid (humans), as well as a +4 bonus on weapon damage rolls against them.

Wild Empathy (Ex)
Todd Greenwood can improve the attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check to improve the attitude of a person. He rolls 1d20 and adds his ranger level and his Charisma modifier to determine the wild empathy check result. The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly.

To use wild empathy, Todd Greenwood and the animal must be able to study each other, which means that they must be within 30 feet of one another under normal visibility conditions. Generally, influencing an animal in this way takes 1 minute, but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time.

Todd Greenwood can also use this ability to influence a magical beast with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2, but he takes a -4 penalty on the check.

Link (Ex)
Todd Greenwood can handle Prowler as a free action, or push him as a move action. In addition he gains a +4 circumstance bonus on all wild empathy checks and Handle Animal checks made regarding Prowler.

Share Spells (Ex)
At Todd Greenwood's option, he may have any spell (but not any spell-like ability) he casts upon himself also affect Prowler. Prowler must be within 5 feet of him at the time of casting to receive the benefit. If the spell or effect has a duration other than instantaneous, it stops affecting Prowler if he moves farther than 5 feet away and will not affect him again, even if he returns to the Todd Greenwood before the duration expires.

Additionally, Todd Greenwood may cast a spell with a target of "You" on Prowler (as a touch range spell) instead of on himself. Todd Greenwood and Prowler can share spells even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of Prowler's type (animal).

Speak With Animals (Sp)
Todd Greenwood can use Speak with Animals once per day as the spell cast by a caster of his class level.

Todd Greenwood has taught Prowler eight tricks; Attack, Attack All Creatures, Down, Guard, Heel, Seek, Stay and Track.

Improved Grab (Ex)
To use this ability, Prowler must hit with his bite attack. He can then attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. If he wins the grapple check, he establishes a hold and can rake.

Pounce (Ex)
If Prowler charges a foe, it can make a full attack, including two rake attacks.

Rake (Ex)
Attack bonus +9 melee, damage 1d3+2

Evasion (Ex)
If Prowler is subjected to an attack that normally allows a Reflex saving throw for half damage, he takes no damage if he makes a successful saving throw.


Todd Greenwood is scruffy looking man with shoulder length light brown hair, His face always seems to sport several days growth of facial hair, but never a full beard. His clothing is simple and functional, but in good condition. Standing 6ft in height, Greenwood has a tanned complexion and the fit, hard muscled body of man who has spent most of his life in the outdoors.


Unschooled in the niceties of the civilised townspeople, Todd Greenwood is often looked down upon as nothing more than a dirty uncouth barbarian. His simple, abruptly direct demeanour has seldom won him many friends, but those who take the time to get to know the man underneath, find a kind and gentle soul.


Todd Greenwood is simply a rough and tumble mountain man. Born to a hunter and her druid husband, he has spent much of his life in the wilds of Abanasinia, only venturing into 'civilisation' occasionally. Preferring the company of his cougar animal companion, Prowler, he wanders the wilder places around Solace seeking out and destroying any evil creatures he encounters, goblins, ogres etc. Greenwood lives off the land for the most part, but occasionally trades his services as a guide to get some extra steel.
