Guerrand Alleran Warder is 6'2" inches tall and weighs about 200 lbs. Guerrand is a bit of a fashion plate. He takes great pride in his appearance. His clothes are always clean and free of wrinkles. His shoulder length hair combed and his face is smoothly shaved.
Warder figures it better to be a red robe and be left alone for the most part than to be beholden to either of the other two interfering gods. He considers Solinari and Nuitari altogether too pushy for his liking. He respects the Red Lady for leaving him alone.
Warder is neutral, but with strong good tendencies. He wants to be left alone to conduct his business and get paid, but he seems to always find himself helping people even when it is against his better judgment. His penchant for poking his nose into the affairs of others often proves to be a professional liability.
He is something of a black sheep as far as the Conclave is concerned though. They look down on him for using his wizardry skills to make a living and also for daring to use weapons forbidden by the traditions of the Conclave. He has narrowly avoided being branded a renegade on several occasions.
Rand has assisted the Solamnic Knights with several investigations of mysterious circumstances and has developed a working relationship with a young lady named Kellis Ravencroft, Knight of the Crown. The two try keep their relationship purely professional, but Rand has feelings for the knight and sometimes isn't too good at keeping them to himself.
His staff is topped with the skull of a former red robe who was branded a renegade and cursed to reside in his own skull for his crimes. Rand gained the skull staff during his Test much to the chagrin of the Concalve. Though they demanded Rand turn over the skull of the renegade, Hrothbert; he refused. Since the conclusion of his Test, Rand has narrowly avoided being branded a renegade himself on at least three occasions.
Rand knows the Conclave is watching his every move. A red-robed Ergothian renegade hunter named, Lamont keeps an eye on Rand and reports his activities to the Conclave on a daily basis. Lamont and Rand intensely dislike one another and it is inevitable that they will one day pit their skills against each other.
Rand was constructed using the Wizard class from the Pathfinder RPG.
