Mythic Defense you may spend a Conviction point to gain a +3 bonus to defense for one round.
Trickster's Aid when you use the Aid action you may spend a Conviction point to add or subtract your Charisma score (if positive) to the aided character's check instead of the normal +2 bonus. A character may refuse your aid, but only before you actually declare whether you are helping or hindering them. If you are using this Mythic Gift to hinder the person you are "aiding" you may attempt to disguise your sabotage as an honest attempt to help them with a successful Bluff check.
Devil's Luck I If you and all of your allies fail a saving throw, you may spend a Conviction point to roll your own save again as though you were making a new check. The roll from your second check stands.

Rhiarion keeps his elven heritage hidden from the world preferring to explain his outfit in a different way every time, not a day goes by the inner scars of the Red Dragon Army or the Thorn Knights don't cross his mind, and making jokes even if they are at his expense is a way of keeping his spirits up.

He is not without positive qualities, but they are pushed aside in the thrill seeking lifestyle he should have put behind him long ago.

Always first for a social drink or a good meal, he is a passable cook and handy to have at camp, and feels comfortable at the Stone Rose because of its basic commodities and warmer climate in these wintery times.

He is a person who likes the simple things, Silvanesti traditions and "refined" tastes just create distance between races, a luxury Rhiarion knows the world cannot afford. He is the eternal optimist, quite proud of keeping his sense of humor in almost certain death situations.


Once born into an Elven paradise, Rhiarion prefers to leave his place of birth, in all ways as far behind him as he can.

In his youth, he used to run almost naked through pristine glades, he is now clad from gloved hand to high booted feet in dark somber tones. Under the wide brimmed Hat and black eye mask he wears it is hard to see the bitterness he constantly feels, his shame of the Qualinesti.

Rhiarion is a long way from the smiling, bright eyed youth he used to be. His sorrow stems from the Qualinesti people not acknowledging the wisdom of Githas. The cloud that hangs over him is infused with anger at his own kind for allowing Kithanashara and the Thorn Knights to cripple then destroy his family, friends and homeland.

Needless to say Rhiarion is a Nomad.

In spite of having a long life in which to spend time in self-reflection, Rhiarion chooses to fill his days with excitement and adventure rather than own up to the darker places within.

Rhiarion has a deep connection to those who have had to make their own homes, where they can.

One of his strong points is he does not judge people on their appearances, preferring to let their actions speak of their true characters.
