Description:

Mithralas has long, wavy, silver-blond hair, which he usually wears in a single braid down his back when traveling and adventuring. He prefers green or brown silks and well made clothes for performances, though he dresses in sturdier clothes for travel. Mithralas's status as a Dark Elf has keenly affected his confidence. Only when he performs does he seem confident and self-assured. He has made a personal vow to only speak the truth as he sees it and refuses to blather on and on. His status as an outcast has made him more sensitive to the prejudices of others. He always trys to judge a person by their actions rather than by race, birth, or social standing.

Background:

Mithralas is one of the lesser cousins of Alhana Starbreeze and House Royal of Silvanesti. His mother was the late Ellendra Starbreeze and his father a human bard named Mithran Hearthsong. His compulsion to always speak the truth led him to speak out in council against the treatment of Alhana and Porthios. He denounced the bigotry and prejudice he saw around him, and publicly declared his support for the now dark elf rulers of the united elven kingdoms. His words were met with scorn and he was flatly told that since he so sympathized with Alhana and Porthios he could join them in exile. He was branded a dark elf and cast out along with Alhana and Porthios.

He has traveled to many different parts of Ansalon, pending a lot of time on Gunthar. It was in Gunthar that he made the acquaintance of a human scholar named Lorekind. Lorekind shared the same love of history and learning that Mithralas did. Lorekind introduced him to Britta Moonsteel and Mithralas quickly fell in love with the Solamnic Knight. He has never voiced this love for her, lest she reject him. He continues to accompany her to chronicle her deeds and to witness her inevitable greatness.

Design Notes:

Mithralas was built using 8 points for abilities and the d20 Knowledge skills.
