Lareth is a severe looking elf with pale skin, long blond-white hair and sky blue eyes. Without even drawing attention to himself, Lareth oozes presence, radiating confidence and elven superiority. Unlike many Kirath, Lareth shuns the use of armour, preferring to wear a dark black clothing. When seen in the wilds on missions, Lareth wears his long hair in a ponytail, held in place by a silver ring decorated with an expensive blue gem.

Lareth does not speak in idle conversations, he speaks only when he has need to. As a veteran Kirath, Lareth has seen much action in the defence of Silvanesti, although he always hides such scars from sight. He has seen a great deal of the hardships of the world and only by looking into his cold and passionless eyes can any begin to sense the grief and horrors that he has seen.
Lareth is an alsolute racist, believing in the superiority of the Silvanesti. As such, all other races are inferior, including other races of elves, such as the Qualinesti or Kagonesti. His extreme views, although never condoned by any within the royal court, are well known. Despite his views on inferior races and hatred for verminous unions (half-elves), Lareth is savvy enough to known that on occasion he must work with such if his nation is to be restored.
Lareth is a deeply spiritual elf and is a devout worshipper of the Beast, Chislev. He seeks to become one of the worthy elves that are said to inhabit Zhan, the Grandest Forest Beyond the World when he passes into the afterlife.

Lareth is an only child and comes from a highly distinguished family of House Mystic, steeped in the honour, politics and traditions of the Silvanesti. His family has always been active within the Silvanesti society and has records that easily pre-date the Cataclysm.
His family was among the last of those evacuated from Silvanesti during the War of the Lance. Staunch traditionalists, he and his family held out until the nightmare of Lorac's nightmare forced them to leave.
It was during those dangerous times that he met the Kirath Aleaha Takmarin. He instantly disliked her more easy going and jovial manner, citing that she had forgotten how to act in the proper manner and calling her not much better than a Kagonesti.

— Able Sniper (Races of the Wild)
— Kirath Organisation, Atrakha & Woodshaper feats, Soris weapon (Races of Ansalon)
— Education feat (Legends of the Twins)
