The Shadow Sorcerer appears to be a human woman of indeterminate age. She is never seen without a gray crystal mask that hides her features save for her white hair and she dresses in form fitting black robes. She is 6'1" tall and has gold eyes; the only feature of her face visible behind the mask.
The Shadow Sorcerer is a woman with a mission, and that mission is to make lives miserable for humans wherever she finds them. It is unknown what caused her to hate her own kind so much. Her preferred targets are Dark Knights, whom she accuses of "forcing her people to defend themselves against the aggression of the Dark Knights." The Shadow Sorcerer disdains the use of imprecise tools such as weapon and armor, though she does keep a magic dagger as a reserve weapon.
Not much is known of the mysterious woman who calls herself the Shadow Sorcerer. One day she simply appeared in the city of Palanthas wielding strange abilities and hiding her features behind a gray crystal mask. She immediately laid claim to the Tower of Palanthas, demanding that Dalamar vacate "her" tower. Of course Dalamar refused. It is said the Shadow Sorcerer walked unmolested through the Shoikan Grove and challenged Dalamar for possession of the Tower. A battle ensued but the details of that batltle have never come to light. The Shadow Sorcerer has been spotted several times in the Deathwalk of the Tower, and Dalamar continues to come and go as he pleases from the Tower.
I decided to go with psionics because in the Age of Dragons timeline; sorcery and mysticism remain undiscovered. However into this vacuum come those that have learned to harness their mental abilities and so the first psions begin discovering their powers in this alternate timeline. Only a few of these individuals exist at the current time; such as the elusive Shadow Sorcerer. Many of these individuals owe the discovery of their awesome mental powers to the shower of shards from the Graygem when it exploded; Chaos's final gift to the world.
