This is Dhamon as he was pictured at the beginning of the Dragons of a New Age trilogy. He has wheat colored hair, black eyes, and well muscled. This Dhamon also has a carefully tended goatee. He wears the traditional black plate armor of the Knights of the Lily; however, he has replaced his grinning skull helm with a grinning dragon helm stained blue. A blue cloak rounds out his appearance.
This Dhamon is very much aware of what he wants. This isn't arrogance on his part, but a keen awareness of his talents and flaws. His Dark Queen has shown him the way to success and it is at the right hand of Alexius Medan. Dhamon strikes quickly and without mercy. He is fanatically loyal to Medan, though he is beginning to have concerns as to the mental stability of his longtime friend.
Dhamon Grimwulf, Chosen of Goldmoon; at least he would have been. In the Age of Dragons, Dhamon Grimwulf is a man who is very sure of himself and his place in the world. His place is between The Lord of the Night, Alexius Medan and the forces would seek to removes Medan from his place of leadership over the Knights of Takhisis. This Dhamon never experienced the crisis of faith, which the Dhamon of the Age of Mortals did. He never learned true honor and nobility from the old Solamnic Knight; his troops killed the old man. He never took the pilgrimage to the Tomb of the Last Heroes, never took up the challenge of Goldmoon, and never led a ragtag group of heroes in a bid to prevent a Dragon Overlord from achieving Godhood.
The Dhamon of the Age of Dragons is a high ranking Knight of the Lily. He achieved his position by being the best. He is a skilled tracker and field medic and enjoys the accolades of his position. Early in his career he was partnered with the blue dragon, Gale. Together Gale and Dhamon make a fearsome duo. They have never lost a fight. Dhamon is the personal body guard of Lord of Night Medan. The two have been friends for many years and Dhamon will gladly take any killing blow meant for his friend and leader. Lately though, Medan's increasing paranoia has begun to alarm Dhamon. The Lord of Night has begun to jump at shadows that aren't there. As things progress, Dhamon can't help but wonder if the time is right for Medan to step down gracefully and hand the reigns of power to him. Dhamon will not be the one to initiate such a progression though. He works to hide Medan's growing paranoia from the rest of the Knighthood.
