chainmail armor, medium shield painted with her family's heraldic device (a glowing white sword on an azure background beneath a crescent moon), standard adventuring gear.

Britta wears her thick red hair piled and braided to make it easier to tuck it into her helm. She is pale skinned and broad shouldered and very muscular due to her knight's training. There is no mistaking her femininity, but those who construe this as weakness do so at their own peril. She wears dresses only on few occasions preferring sensible traveling closes when not in armor.

Britta is quick to act but she does not make snap judgments, or rash decisions. She considers her actions very carefully. Once her mind is made up about a subject it is nigh impossible to convince her to change her mind. Her forceful personality and lack of pretension has drawn a group of close companions to her.

Britta comes from a long line of Solamnic Knights. Both she and her brother Angar grew up in their family's holding of Moongaard Keep and were brought up in the finest traditions of the Knighthood. They joined the knighthood as soon as they were able following in the footsteps of their father Justar. One of their earliest adventures took them to Gunthar, and while they were away their father died unexpectedly. By the time word reached them on Gunthar, Justar had already been interred in the family crypt. Shortly after he was interred the family's keep was destroyed by a rampaging dragon bent on destroying their father's old mount, a silver dragon named Argentwing. Nothing remained of the keep except rubble.

Since then Britta and her brother have resided on Gunthar, where they spent their time performing missions for the Knighthood. Britta personifies the old traditional values of the Solamnic Knights. She makes every attempt to live up to the ideals espoused in the Measure. Though she is a Knight of the Crown she stands poised to join the Order of the Sword once she completes a quest worthy of that status.

Recently her brother left Gunthar to return to the ruins of Moonsteel Keep. He forbade her from accompanying him. Her longtime friend Lorekind has been having dreams of Angar in peril. This has prompted her to disobey her older brother and go after him. She only prays she isn't too late.

Design Notes:

Britta Moonsteel is one of the pre-generated characters from the Dragonlance Fifth Age RPGA adventure, Moonsteel Rising.

· Britta was built using 8 points for ability scores rather than six.

· I have opted to use d20 Knowledge skills rather than those in the True20 Sourcebook. I feel those Knowledge skills are better suited for modern adventures.
