Appearance

Ronlyn, in his true form, has deep blue skin with black hair that he wears in a pony tail. Tall and slender, his movements exude grace. His preferred alter ego is that of the half elf, Deyln Windspring. In that guise, he has chestnut skin and red, close cropped hair.

Personality

Ronlyn's personality contains the traits of his preferred element; whimsical, light, airy like a breeze and when required as strong, forceful and unrelenting as a gale. Ronlyn considers himself to be blessed to have been away from the Irda homeland when the release of Chaos destroyed the island. He is helpful and playful, enjoying both helping those in need and confounding those preying on those in need.

Background

Born on the Isle of the Irda, Ronlyn was possessed of a fun loving capricious nature. His early exploits led him to become a member of the Order of the Spring Zephyr, one of several elemental based cults in Irda society. With ability granted to them by the Gray Gem, the order's members were tasked with off-world reconnaissance. Ronlyn left his home island and joined the world of Ansalon, first stopping to contact the Kyrie on Kothas.

Finding the Kyrie enjoyable and the minotaurs distasteful, Ronlyn finally said goodbye to his new feathered friends and traveled to Palanthas where he encountered the future leader of the Wizards of High Sorcery, Mistress Jenna in her magic shop. Even though he traveled in the guise of a half elf follower of Habbakuk, Jenna instantly saw through his disguise and asked Ronlyn to join her for tea. Thus started a long friendship that continues to this day.

As he traveled farther from the Graygem, Ronlyn noticed his powers became more erratic and less potent. His concern over the flux in his power sent him on a journey back to the Isle of the Irda. Ronlyn watched in a boat as Chaos and the shadow wights erupted, killing most of the irda. He found his powers had returned and quickly withdrew to Palanthas.

Since the disappearance of the gods, Ronlyn had been traveling Krynn using his healing magic to help out as much as possible, without drawing attention to himself. He found that most of the people of Ansalon felt a hatred for Irda and so he continued in his alternate forms. He traveled to the Citadel of Light and studied under Goldmoon for a time.

In the current era he continues wandering the continent searching for other Irda; helping out anyone who needs it. He is a master of using illusions to frighten would be attackers. He hopes for and seeks a method to restore the Irda homeland and to rebuild the Irda Society. He is currently located in Palanthalas researching the nature of the River of Time at the Great Library by day, fighting evil by night.
