She has dark mahogany curly hair. When she was younger she kept it cut very short. As she got older, she grew it out and it got streaked with silver. She has a hawkish nose and high cheekbones. Her eyes are grey and are slightly too large for her face. She was not particularly tall. Camilla typically wears full plate mail.

Lady Camilla Weoledge was a female Human Knight of the Sword and commander of the Solamnic forces stationed on Schallsea. Her command includes the fortress Sentinel, two-dozen knights, and about a hundred soldiers. Her great-grandfather, grandfather, and father had all been Knights of Solamnia. Her father retired from the knighthood after he lost his right arm. She also had at least one older brother named Kastil Weoledge. Like most Solamnic Knights she is suspicious of magic users.

Camilla comes from a noble family from Portsmith in Coastlund. According to family tradition her eldest brother, Kastil, entered the knighthood and Camilla, the youngest, entered the clergy of Kiri-Jolith. Her brother found the knighthood too rigid and abandoned his post. She begged her father to allow her to enter the knighthood in her brother's place. The clergy agreed with this and her father agreed. She joined the knighthood during the Chaos War and was later knighted during the dragon purge while a battle between dragons occurred overhead.

In 392 AC, Camilla received her first command. She was to lead the Solamnic forces on Schallsea and to protect the Mystics of Goldmoon as they built their Citadel of Light. While she was proud to server her order but she did not agree with this new Magic. She believed that it would pull people away from the gods and their teachings.

Camilla began to have feelings for a Silvanesti Elf mystic Gair Graymist. He tried to convince her of the good of Mysticism. Unknown to her though at the same time Gair was being corrupted by dark mysticism that he practiced in secret. He eventually fell so far that he wanted to kill everyone on the island and raise them as wraiths. Camilla and Goldmoon united defeated this threat. After the visions that Camilla received from the Silver Stair, she found new respect for Goldmoon especially after she learned that Goldmoon still followed and taught the ways of Mishakal. She still was not sure about mysticism but she knew she could trust Goldmoon. In the years that followed Goldmoon and Camilla became close friends. The High Council eventually offered Camilla a new post, but she turned it down to stay and learn more of mysticism.

In 421 AC, Beryllinthranox and her forces attacked the Citadel of Light. Camilla led the forces against the dragon. She was shocked when she heard that Goldmoon had left the Citadel. She thought that Goldmoon had abandoned all those who trusted her.

Palin Majere told Camilla what happened to Goldmoon and how she stayed true to the gods she believed in. Camilla was overjoyed with the return of the gods, but she chose to continue her command at Schallsea to protect the rebuilt Citadel of Light.
