Description:

Lord Mayor Fanthalas Karango has ruled Maelgoth for 25 years by the time of the summer of Chaos, and has an opulent lifestyle drawing from tariffs from the bustling trade in his city easily supports. He often wears fine gowns and clothing, but dons his armour and sword when taking a ride among his people.

Personality and Background:

Though the mayor has used his position to enrich himself, he is sincere in his desire for his subjects welfare. He will plead with anyone to help the fight against chaos which may destroy his city. He is a rich man with the wealth of many generations of taxes, he may part with some as an incentive, but it is his belief that true heroes will help purely because it is the right thing to do.

Even through the summer of chaos' bombardment, The lord mayor leads a procession of his loyal guards through the plaza and major avenues of the city every day at noon so his subjects can approach him.
