This scale was initially used by Malystryx to control Dhamon, but has recently been the source of ill-health for Dhamon. Background:At a young age, Dhamon joined the Knights of Takhisis in a wild act of adolescent rebellion. Dhamon quickly rose through the ranks of the Knights of Takhisis to become a dragonrider. One day during a battle in Sanction, Dhamon encountered a Solamnic Knight and lost the fight badly. Dhamon's captor taught him about the Solamnics, and Dhamon came to realize the difference between the two knighthoods. When other Knights of Takhisis came to retrieve Dhamon, they killed his newfound mentor, and he returned the favor. Dhamon eventually went on to become one of Goldmoon's Heroes of the Heart, being controlled by Malystryx shortly, but eventually Silvara and a mysterious shadow dragon freed him from the Red's control just in time for Dhamon to rejoin the effort in overthrowing Malys. Since then, Dhamon has sunk to a squalid life of crime. Game Note: Every hour of game time roll 1d20. On a roll of 5 or less, the scale on Dhamon's leg causes 3d6 points of subdual damage, and causes Dhamon to go into convulsions, effectively paralyzing him for 1d10 rounds.
