Physically he appears to be of common Solamnic stock with maybe some Ackal barbarian or Ergothian in his recent family genealogy. He has a rugged and grizzled look, and he is missing the customary Solamnic long flowing mustache. Jaymes also has many burn scars as well as battle scars that cover his arms and chest. Personality:Jaymes is a man driven. Forced to abandon his vows when confronted with how corrupt the Knights have become under their current leadership, Jaymes is forced to flee so that he might one day exact justice (not revenge, although he still sees it this way) on his mentor's betrayers. Gruff and hard as the stony path of the fugitive he has been forced to walk, Jaymes still believes deeply in his own personal Honor, and sense of right and wrong. Jaymes was brought into the knighthood by his mentor Lord Lorimar, trained and promoted into his mentor's personal guard and later as the head of that guard, Jaymes still feels the guilt of not saving his mentor or his daughter. Jaymes is fair-minded, a little harsh, but he is devoted to his friends, and even though he is no longer a member in good standing with the Knights of Solamnia, he still lives to the ideals of the Knighthood, as his mentor taught him. Note: Although Jaymes is no longer an active member of the Knights, he still has access to his knightly abilities - almost as if the gods still support him for some undefined reason. Also, Jaymes is a non- spellcasting Knight of the sword, His time as a Knight of the Sword was in preparation to enter the Order of the Rose, just as his mentor had hoped.
