Distinguishing Features and Mannerisms:
Grey is 27 yrs old, 6'2" tall, and weighs 182 lbs. He shaves his head bald and keeps his goatee neatly trimmed. His eyes are gray (the basis of his name). He speaks in an authoritative manner with a loud voice; that expects to be obeyed. He is forthright in his dealings with others defining his terms and living by them. He expects others to do the same.
Grey has been trained from an early age for membership into the Knights of Takhisis (Grey refuses to use the new name feeling it dishonors both the order's founder and it's fallen goddess). His father Luther vin Tindalos was one of those who financed Ariakan when he first formed the orders nearly 50 years ago. Though Luther never became a knight, his eldest son Kristoph did. Luther was proud of his son; and traveled by dragon back many times to Storm's Keep to watch the boy's training. Luther and Ariakan were fast friends; who spent long hours talking about the knighthood. Luther was saddened to hear of the fall of his friend during the Chaos War, but vowed that his family would be ever loyal to the Knights of Takhisis.
When Grey was old enough to begin training, he was squired to Erik uth Drasten, Knight of the Lily. Unfortunately, Erik had lost faith both in his order and in his goddess. It showed in his every deed. Grey had grown up on tales of the "nobility" and "honor" of the knighthood; none of which was personified in Erik. Grey lived strictly by the Code; thus he felt he was well within his rights, when he denounced Erik uth Drasten as a traitor. Due to Grey's testimony; Erik was executed by hanging, for conduct unbecoming an officer.
Rather than submit Grey to another unworthy knight; Luther took up Grey's training himself, going so far as to hire a sorcerer to tutor the boy in magic. Luther knew more about the knighthood than most now living and tutored his son in the ways of a true knight. Grey underwent his Test of Takhisis, and was granted a true Vision (not the one manufactured by the Skull Knights) in which he was told to seek out an artifact that would be the key to his Queen's return.
A few weeks ago, Grey was transferred to Pashin, to begin building up the ranks of Thorn Knights. He has discovered a promising young apprentice named Cole, whom he is using to capture a former squire named Pegrin, who went AWOL. Through Cole, Grey has learned that Pegrin has in his possession artifact from the vaults of Silvanesti. Though Takhisis is gone, Grey is still loyal to the Vision, and believes that this may be the artifact he was told to seek.
