Description:

Jilani is an attractive woman in her mid-20s. She has long blond hair and light blue eyes, as well as a clear, if somewhat pale, complexion. She dresses in buckskins in an attempt to mimic the style of dress of the Plainsmen.

Background:

Jilani grew up in the small Solamnic village of Witdel. She has a natural aptitude for spellcasting, and works hard to expand on her ability. For a short while, she studied at the Academy of Sorcery, prior to its destruction. Now with it gone, she has nobody to continue her formal training.

One time during her travels, Jilani had stopped in a tiny hamlet for the night. The superstitious townspeople crept into her room and carried her bound and gagged to a stake in the center of town where she was to be burned as a witch. As they prepared to torch a pile of wood, a great horned figure burst from the forest. The townspeople fled when they saw the minotaur, Karathos, who rescued the young sorceress. The two have become friends and have traveled some together.

Jilani has adventured some on her own and with a group of adventurers. It was with these companions that she encountered her half-sister, Selowen, who she barely knew. Selowen is Jilani's older sister by a hundred years, and was a White Robe prior to the Age of Mortals.

With the return of the gods, Selowen has rejoined the ranks of the Orders of High Sorcery. She has encouraged Jilani to join her. Jilani has not decided her course as of yet. She has told Selowen that she would, and even has a set of cream-colored robes for when she will pass the Test. However, her heart isn't into the ways of High Sorcery. Jilani is a free spirit, and the magic of Wild Sorcery is a natural fit.

Author's Note:

Originally, Jilani was presented as an apprentice wizard in Knight's Sword and Unsung Heroes. I have taken some liberties to adapt her to the modern era, and to present her as a sorceress.
