AccanthusD&D 3e (3.0/3.5) Rulesby Tauren Kai-JereAccanthusAn accanthus is a child of the forest who was abused during childhood, whose arboreal traits grew twisted and violent because of all of their rage and resentment. Such a creature looks like any other child of the forest but as additional powers fueled by its tainted nature. Accanthus assume a tree-like form and are capable of channeling their anger into the plant-life around them, driving it to choke and ensnare other creatures. They are dangerous and wild creatures. Creating an Accanthus"Accanthus" is an inherited template that may only be used upon humanoids with the child of the forest template (hereafter known as the "base creature") of non-good alignments. Apply the child of the forest template first, then modify based on these traits. Size and Type: The creature gains the plant type.
Spell-Like Abilities: 1/day - entangle Caster level is equal to character level.
