"I've always had a soft spot for people in need. I guess that comes from my poor childhood in Southern Ergoth. It got me into all sorts of trouble, and someone in my line of work is better without those kinds of feelings. However, a few years back, a, um, close friend was killed by a dragon. Before that, I had always assumed that if I left the Great Dragon's alone, they would leave me alone. I was wrong. And ever since then I've been trying to undermine the Dragon Overlord's hold on Ansalon. I particularly hate white dragons, and will attack them on sight, because a white one killed Jeryathas.

"I prefer to spend my time in the wild, at one with nature, then to visit "civilized" areas. I never allow anyone to get close to me, and I never reveal any information unless I have to. I may seem cold to people, but I just don't want to risk being hurt again. I especially try to remain apart from my male companions who are often attracted to me.

"For right now, I want to destroy Gellidus, and reclaim my homeland. I really want to be the person who ends that great beast's life. However, I don't let my grim mission keep me from exploring the world. I love and appreciate all things magical, and I respect anyone with great magical power.

"One of my failings is that I just have to help everyone that needs my help. Even if I'm on my way to destroy Gellidus, I can't help stop a robbing, or helping a fawn free from a trap."

Game Information

As an elf, Adriana receives a Trump bonus in using her sword or to resolve a Perception action in the forest. However, like others of her race, Adriana can seem haughty to non-elves. Therefore, she never enjoys a trump bonus for Presence actions involving non-elves. (Cards played to resist magic are an exception.)

This Kagonesti sorcerer-mystic can employ three schools of sorcery: spectramancy, transmutation, and electromancy. She can also cast spells from three mystic spheres: mentalism, channeling, and meditation. Her two acute senses are hearing and smell.

Appearance

Adriana is wildly exotic, with tanned skin and large, luminous blue eyes. She looks like a young woman in her teens, but was born more than thirty years before the summer of Chaos. She has light, blonde/brown hair that falls across her face like a waterfall. She wears several feathers attached to her headband. She also has the Kagonesti tattoo of a tear on her left cheek. She usually wears a skimpy, swimsuit like leather armor because she likes to feel the sensations of the elements upon her skin. Attached to her pointed, elven ears are two dangling which hold crystal beads. These are her only wealth (worth well over two hundred steel), and they were a present from Jeryathas.
