ValdemariD&D 3e (3.0/3.5) Rulesby Clive SquireValdemariLarge Young Adult Bronze Dragon (Water) (57 years old) This bronze wyrm is sinuous and lean. Its scales are fine and small and it has a serpentine grace. Across its back are the scars of an old burn injury, and are slightly blackened. CombatValdemari is a very active and aggressive in her crusade against evil. She feels that it is her duty to protect them who cannot protect themselves. Alternate Form: Valdemari can assume any animal or humanoid form of Medium size or smaller as a standard action three times per day. This ability functions as a polymorph spell cast on herself as a 5th caster, except that Valdemari does not regain hit points for changing form and can only assume the form of an animal or humanoid. Valdemari can remain in her animal or humanoid form until she chooses to assume a new one or return to her natural form. Valdemari prefers the shape of a powerful golden eagle. Breath Weapon (Su): Line of lightning, 100ft long, every 1d4 rounds; damage 10d6, Reflex half DC 23. Valdemari can use a cone of repulsion gas instead of lightning, those that fail their saves against it move away from her for 1d6+5 rounds. Frightful Presence (Ex): 150ft radius, creatures with 18HD or less, Willpower save DC 23. Spell-Like Abilities: At will –speak with animals, 3/day –create food & water, fog cloud. Spells: As a 5th level sorcerer. Sorcerer Spells Known (cast 6/7/5; save DC 14 + spell level): 0 –detect magic, resistance, detect poison, read magic, dancing lights, ghost sound; 1st –mage armour, divine favour, silent image, sleep; 2 –cat's grace, daze monster. Water Breathing (Ex): Valdemari can breathe underwater indefinitely and can freely use her breath weapons, spells, and other abilities while submerged.
