Ring of Forceful ChangeD&D 3e (3.0/3.5) Rulesby KenderBryantRing of Forceful ChangeThis ring forces a shapeshifter to assume its natural shape. This is painful for the target, who takes 3d10 points of damage. A successful Will save (DC 19) prevents the forced change, but the damage is still dealt. This ring only works on true shapeshifters (i.e. dopplegangers) and not those under the effects of spells such as alter self or polymorph, or items that replicate such effects like a hat of disguise. These rings have 20 charges when first created. Caster Level: 12th; Prerequisites: Forge Ring, force shapechange (from Oriental Adventures). Market Price: 54,000 gp. Cost to Create: 27,000 gp and 2160 xp. Fan RatingsThis item has been published here with permission from the author(s) and may not be reproduced without permission.
