Wrath of TakhisisD&D 3e (3.0/3.5) Rulesby RavenmantleWrath of Takhisis (minor artifact): The Wrath of Takhisis is a powerful weapon. Even though Takhisis is dead, this unholy weapon has retained its powers. It is said that the morningstar wielded by Master Inquisitor Savinna Zaraith (LE female civilized human mystic 6/inquisitor 2/Knight of the Skull 7) was originally wielded by one of Takhisis' fiendish servants during the Third Dragon War and that it ended the lives of countless enemies. Both head and shaft of this unholy weapon is jet black. The shaft is clearly of ironwood while the head has been crafted of a powerful metal unknown to those who have studied the weapon. The spikes covering the head are black, white, blue, green, or red. Dark runes run along the shaft, glowing slightly whenever the morningstar is wielded in combat. The Wrath of Takhisis is a +3 unholy morningstar. Whenever the wielder hits a good-aligned opponent, she deals an additional 2d6 points of damage. Three times per day, and upon a successful hit, the wielder can utter the word "Takhisis" and the Wrath of Takhisis will unleash a blasphemy spell (see Player's Handbook for spell description). Strong evocation; CL 13th; Weight 6 lbs. Note: Even though the Wrath of Takhisis was made for Savinna Zaraith, she can easily be exchanged by your own NPC.
