Target/Area/Effect: 10ft radius, centred on you
Duration: 1 round/level
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No

You create a transparent magical barrier that protects you from damage. The barrier blocks all physical attacks made against you and blocks all spells that cause damage. The barrier prevents 2 points of damage per caster level. The barrier is mobile with you and doesn't affect your AC or saving throws. Against any attack, even those that allow a saving throw for half damage, the spells deal full damage to the barrier. The barrier offers no protection against non-damaging spells or effects. If the damage from a spell or spell-like effect breaches the barrier, you are entitled to any saving throw against the remaining damage.

Material Components: A piece of jade or amethyst worth 50stl.
