Monks on Kyrnn, are not oriental in theme.

Have a rigorous outdoor life, and a simple diet. Monks usually live in isolated monasteries. Monks are not interested in the politics of any nation. They take a vow of chastity, but approve of the "cycle of life" between a man and woman (or else there wouldn't be any more monks).

Monks usually wear their hair long in a single braid down their back. Monks of Majere wear Orange Robes.

Monks get up an hour before dawn. They meditate and prayer to Majere for an hour then do 30 minutes of daily exercise.

"All was the (character's name), and he was all. All was Majere's and the god was all."

Mind/Body/Spirit are one.

Diet:
Breakfast – Meat or Fish, bread, goat's milk cheese, goat's milk
Lunch – Cheese and Bread
Dinner – Onion Soup, meat or fish, bread. Summer: greens and veggies. Winter: Apples, dried fruit, and nuts

Every Evening – A monk would practice their "merciful discipline" , which is the ritual practice of unarmed combat.

Majere precepts – Peace and brotherhood for all mankind, but sometimes that peace must sometimes be maintained with force.

Monks are not permitted to use blades or arrows or any other type of steel weapon for Majere commands that his monks must not take life unless innocent lives are in peril and then only when all other options have been tried and failed.

Monks normally do not need to see the world, as the world is inside them.

Majere has no formal temples, the sky is his grand ceiling, the grassy hills are pews, and the trees are altars. One did not seek the god inside a formal setting but looked inward, wherever one was.

It is not up to the monk to tell another how to live. But will give advice if his council is sought.

A break in a monk's routine is shattering, catastrophic.

Infirmarer – Heads up the Infirmary
Master of Discipline – is the monastery's weapons master
Master of the House – is in charge of daily household affairs
The Master – head of the monastery
The Prophet of Majere – Head of the Order
