Daikalla Weapons

D&D 3e (3.0/3.5) Rules

by Dragon Zombie X

Daikalla weapons are forged by dwarven mastersmiths of the Icewall. Their process of creation is a secret known only to them and a few barbarian shamans who taught them the technique. Made from a purple-hued ice which is as strong as steel, daikalla weapons strike fear into the hearts of enemies. These blades cannot stand up to warmer climates and will melt if brought into one.

  • +1d6 points of cold damage on a successful strike, +1d10 points of cold damage on a critical strike.
  • Weight: A daikalla weapon weigh three-fourths (75%) as much as a normal weapon of its type.
  • Masterwork: All daikalla weapons are masterwork and as such have a +1 enhancemenent bonus to attack rolls.
  • Special: These blades must be kept cold. If they are brought to a warm climate they will begin to melt in 1d4 days and become useless after 24 hours.
  • All other statistics are the same as the base weapon.
