Moonglory

D&D 3e (3.0/3.5) Rules

by Dragon Zombie X

Moonglory is a +3 composite longbow of distance. It has a range of 220 ft, and at night sheds light in a 20ft radius spread, the light cannot be subdued without totally wrapping it up in cloth of fully concealing it by other means. Arrows shot from it in the dark illuminate the area they pass through for a distance of 10 feet, and continue to glow till they are blocked out by a brighter source of light. Making them effective as torches if one were inclined to retrieve it.

What really makes this bow special is when Solinari is full, it acts as a +5 weapon instead of a +3.

If a critical hit is scored the arrow explodes into light requiring the subject and all within 20ft of him to make a will save (DC 14) or become blinded for 1d4 rounds.
