Howlers

Howlers are arrows that have had tiny holes drilled or carved into the shaft of the wood. The holes allow air to pass through making a loud howling noise that can be heard with a listen check of 10. They can be heard from a distance of 40 ft from their flight path.

These are primarily used to warn comrades of dangers ahead, near, incoming etc.
