WyrmslayerD&D 3e (3.0/3.5) Rulesby Joe MashugaWyrmslayer: The legendary blade of Kith-Kanan was forged during the second Dragon War, and was buried with its owner. It resurfaced in the hands of Tanis Half-Elven, but its location is currently unknown. Wyrmslayer is a +3 dragon bane greatsword whose bane property is effective against all draconians, even though they did not exist when Wyrmslayer was forged. The greatsword is easily removed from the statue created by dead Baaz draconians. Wyrmslayer's wielder gains a +4 bonus to saving throws against all spells cast by dragons or draconians, and a similar bonus to save against dragon breath weapons. Wyrmslayer emits an audible hum whenever it comes within 30 feet of a dragon, which usually wakes a sleeping dragon. The sword does not hum when a draconian is near. Caster Level: 14th; Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, resistance, summon monster III; Market Price: 120,350 gp; Cost to Create: 60,350 gp + 4,800 XP.
