Ring of Shapechanging

D&D 3e (3.0/3.5) Rules

by Joe Mashuga

Ring of Shapechanging: Upon command, these rings polymorph the wearer into a specific animal, determined upon each ring's creation. Most rings of shapechanging alter the wearer into something small and innocuous, such as mice, ferrets, cats, and so on. A ring's appearance often reveals its alternate form; for example, at least one magic "mouse" rings is made of ivory, vaguely mouse-shaped, and has two red stones for eyes. The wearer resumes his normal form after 8 hours, but he may restore himself sooner by mentally invoking the command word. Each ring functions once per day (changing back is free).

Caster Level: 8th; Prerequisites: Forge Ring, polymorph other; Market Price: 23,040 gp.
