Dream StonesD&D 3e (3.0/3.5) Rulesby Joe MashugaDream Stones: Priests of Chislev and Zivilyn sometimes aid in specific causes by bestowing these stones upon adventuring worshipers. A dream stone is a small golden pebble that has one to three lunar symbols etched upon its surface. Lawful good, chaotic good, lawful evil, and chaotic evil characters cannot use dream stones. All dream stones are usable upon command, and can cast detect chaos, detect evil, detect good, detect law, and detect magic. One-moon dream stones have no additional powers. Two-moon stones can cast augury and locate object. Three-moon stones can cast augury, divination, and locate object. Once a particular spell has been cast, the spell is unavailable for eight days (one full cycle of Lunitari). Caster Level: 9th; Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, creator must be a 9th-level priest of Chislev or Zivilyn, detect chaos, detect evil, detect good, detect law, detect magic, plus augury and locate object (for two-moon stones), plus divination (for three-moon stones); Market Price: 3,500 gp (one-moon), 7,000 gp (two-moon), or 10,500 gp (three-moon); Weight: —.
