Description: Nightbringer is a two-handed mace of blackened steel with small silver inlays decorating the head and a copper band at the center of the shaft. Attributes: Nightbringer is a +2 Heavy Mace. Upon a successful melee strike with Nightbringer, the wielder can speak the command word ("Midnight") as a free action which will cause a Blindness spell to take effect on the victim for 2d4 x 10 minutes (spell is cancelled if a Fortidue save is made, DC 14). Any good aligned character that willingly touches Nightbringer must make a Fortitude saving throw (DC 14) or be permanently blinded.
