Description

This helm is of dwarven make, has two metal horns protruding from the sides, and is decorated with a long white tassel made from a horse's mane.

Unique Properties

The helm only fits dwarves.

History

The Helm of Griffon Mane was found in the ruins of Xak Tsaroth by Tasslehoff Burrfoot, who gave it to his friend Flint Fireforge. Flint, having always claimed to be allergic to horses, refused to believe that the long white tassel had ever belonged to a horse. He insisted, to his dying day, that the mane came from a griffon. Thus, the origin of the name.
