I see my red robes and I want them tainted black
No crimson anymore I want them to turn black
I see Par-Salian dressed in his whitish robes
I have to turn my head until ol' Fisty goes

I see Dalamar and he's all tainted black
With towers and Crysania both never to come back
I see people turn their heads and quickly look away
Through hourglass eyes, they quickly fade away

I look inside myself and see my heart is black
I see my red robes and they have been tainted black
Maybe I'll fade away and not have to face the facts
It's not easy facin' up when your magic is black

No more will Caramon stick to me like horse glue
Dear Crysania has lost her precious view
If I look hard enough into the fallen sun
My god will laugh with me before the mornin' comes
