Chambers of AstinusThe LizardmenJarak-sinnThe Jarak-sinn are a race of lizardpeople whom are devoted to Chislev and the Five Great Dragons. They are completely covered in green scales and have reddish or pink eyes. Most Jarak-sinn speaks only a dialect of Lizardfolk, however the occasional Jarak-sinn also speaks Common. This people are a vicious lot, who welcome the chance to prove themselves in combat. They ride large lizards into battle, and are fearsome enemies. The lizardfolk live in large settlements, and they are ruled by a single king. There are always a group of shamans who serve Chislev or the Five Great Dragons (Takhisis) in every Jarak-sinn community. Their settlements are usually based in caves with mud-pits, where the lizardfolk prefer to relax. They are known to perform slave sacrifices in their worship of Chislev or Takhisis, and are generally avoided by most other humanoid races. HurduHurdu are the lizardpeople that reside in the Steamwall Mountains on Taladas. They have snake-like skin which orange-yellow to yellow-green in color, and a natural ability to camouflage themselves into their surrounding environment. They stand 7-8 feet tall, however they are usually upon all fours to make themselves smaller. Hurdu are aggressive by nature and prone to violent outbursts. They respect the strong and show no mercy to the weak or ill, even amongst their own people. The Hurdu live in small settlements and trade with the Sesk draconians. They are rivals to the hobgoblins that live in the Steamwall Mountains, and despise both the Marak kender, and the Fiannawar dwarves. They will attempt to kill any kender they come across, but flee from the dwarves, whom can generally defeat them in battle. The Hurdu worship Ussk (Morgion), whom they consider their war-diety. They are predominantly made up of barbarian warriors, however there are always a handful of clerics, dedicated to Ussk. BakaliThe Bakali have long been thought of as a lost race of Ansalon. They have always been in strong numbers in the swamps of Taladas, however they were rarely seen upon Ansalon for a long time. During the Age of Dreams, Bakali served the forces of Takhisis in large numbers and were a race to be feared. Their numbers dwindled over time and for many centuries they were considered extinct. With the emergence of the Black Dragon Overlord Onysablet, the Bakali have emerged anew as another force to contend with. They are also known to reside around Mohrlex's domain, in the Great Moors of Nordmaar. Most Bakali stand between 6-8 feet tall and are physically very strong. Their scales are yellow-green to mottled-brown and they resembled humanoid crocodiles. They have strong tails which they use in battle and webbed hands and feet. Bakali are relatively intelligent and can speak several languages, including their own lizardfolk dialect. They are predominantly known to be fighters, however some Bakali have been known to serve as druids or clerics to Krik'k lettz (Chislev) or occasionally Sirr'ushush (Sirrion). TroglodyteTroglodytes are vicious little lizardfolk who stand around 5 feet tall. They are thin and have black beady eyes, as well as powerful arms, legs and a tail. Troglodytes are not overly intelligent, however they are naturally cunning and extremely ferocious in battle. They love battle and relish in every opportunity they have to partake in it. Troglodytes live in large communities and much like the minotaur race, brawn rules all. Trogs are known to be in large tribes dotted across the Ansalonian continent. They live in any cavernous region and hide themselves away with their treasure, waylaying passersby. Trogs have allied themselves with the ogre and goblin races in the past, however they prefer to stick to their own kind. As a race, they are mainly comprised of warriors, although their leaders may sometimes be clerics of the darker gods.
