Chambers of Astinus
| The Rulers of the Dwarves |
| Kitlin Fishtaker | c. 3100 PC | Founder of Kal-Thax. The hero and chieftain who led the dwarves to the site of Kal-Thax. |
| Horas Graybrow | c. 3000 PC | |
| Rudden Magmast | c. 2900 PC | Founder of the collosus, chieftain of Kal-Thax. |
| Agate Thorwallen | 2800-2692 PC | Founder of Thorin. The chieftain who led the dwarves to the site of Thorin. |
| The system of thanes for each dwarven clan is instituted. However the 'chief of chiefs' to rule over all clans still exists. |
| Colin Stonetooth | 2150-2149 PC | Chieftain of the Calnar, who chose to lead his people to the site of Thorbardin. Passed the role of Chieftain of Thorin over to his son Tolon. Colin was founder & 1st chief of chiefs of Thorbardin. Killed within a year of founding Thorbardin, by the assassin Glome. |
| Willen Ironmaul | c. 2149 PC | Colin's successor. Retires when he gets tired of the politics, lets his grandson Cort take over. |
| Cort Fireblend | c. 2135 PC | Rules briefly until passing leadership to his own son. |
| Harl Thrustweight | c. 2128 PC | Known to outsiders as King Hal-Waith or Hal-Thwait, even though he was only a thane. Assassinated by rivals. |
| No lead thane in power from 2128-2073 PC. Dwarves lead outsiders to believe King Hal-Waith/Hal-Thwait leads them, to show a strong front. |
| Derkin Lawgiver | 2073-1950 PC | Harl's son, who signed the Swordsheath Scroll treaty with the elves and humans, and was made the first King of Thorbardin. |
| Damon Stonetooth | c. 1950 PC | Grandson of Derkin and second King of Thorbardin. |
| Duncan | c. 39 AC | Abdicated after being shamed for his actions during the Dwarfgate War. |
| Because of Duncan's abdication, the loss of the Hammer of Kharas and no kingsword being made, there is no king after this time, until the Hammer of Kharas is rediscovered. |
| Glade Hornfel Kytil | 351-383 AC | Became the first King of Thorbardin in new age, when the Heroes of the Lance returned the Hammer of Kharas to him. He vanished in the Summer of Chaos, when his army faces the legions of Chaos. |
| Baker Whitegranite | 383 AC | Cousin of King Hornfel, Baker was acting ruler whilst Hornfel was away at war. Baker was slain during the Summer of Chaos, and handed rulership over to his Tarn temporarily, until Hornfel returned. |
| Glade Hornfel Kytil | 384-412 AC | Returning to Thorbardin after the war, Hornfel resumes his rule until he is killed in an explosing caused by the Daewar cleric Severus Stonehand, which destroys a large portion of Thorbardin also. |
| Tarn Bellowgranite | 412-423 AC | Aided the flight of the elves from Qualinesti, however was ejected from Thorbardin by his rivals, and left for Pax Tharkas. The present ruler of Thorbardin is unknown. |
